FIFA’s The Best award ceremony took place on February 27 in Paris. Many soccer stars, men, and women who were nominated were present for the gala ceremony. The attire of the soccer players was the attraction for the fans, and USWNT star Alex Morgan left her fans in awe with the pink outfit.

Morgan shared an adorable pic of herself with her husband, Servando Carrasco, before the ceremony, and fans reacted to it. San Diego Wave forward was nominated for Best women’s player with Alexia Putellas and Beth Mead. However, she missed out on the award and finished second behind Spanish star Putellas.

Fans were quick to label the couple as beautiful. The look of the USWNT amazed the fans, who replied, amazing, prettiest, glamorous, and gorgeous to this tweet of Morgan. Fans also wished the star at the award ceremony in the hope of winning.

Alex Morgan made it to the FIFPRO World XI for her performance last year. Morgan had a fantastic 2022, where she won SheBelieves Cup and CONCACAF Women’s Championship with USWNT. On an individual level, she won the Golden Boot at the CONCACAF championship and in NWSL with San Diego Wave FC. 

Morgan also made it to the Best XI of the CONCACAF championship and NWSL last year. She recently became the highest-scoring mom for USWNT when she scored an opener against Brazil in the last game of the SheBelieves Cup 2023. USWNT forward was also honored for achieving 200 caps for the national team before the start of the tournament this month. 

Alex Morgan is all set for the new NWSL season

NWSL will kick off the eleventh season on March 25, which will run up to October 11, 2023. Morgan has warmed up for the season with a great outing in the recently concluded SheBelieves Cup. Morgan scored one goal and assisted further two and was one of the decisive players for USWNT.

San Diego Wave fans will hope for the forward to continue her form in the NWSL season and help the team win some silverware this season. Wave will kick off its campaign against Chicago Red Stars on March 25. It will be interesting to see how Morgan fares in the NWSL season in a build-up to the World Cup in July this year.
