Shakira Pens Down a 3-Word Heartfelt Message for Brazil Fans Following Pele’s Death at 82

The world was in mourning after the death of the Brazilian soccer legend Pele. Many famous personalities took to social media to show their condolences and respect for the legend. Among those was the Colombian singer and songwriter, Shakira.

The three-time World Cup winner died at the age of 82 on December 29th as he suffered various organ failures. He was battling cancer for a long time and was admitted to the hospital in November. His condition worsened and in the end, he sadly passed away.

Pele had an absolutely marvelous career. He led Brazil to three World Cup victories and scored a record 1,283 goals in 1,366 matches. He helped soccer become the global phenomenon that it is today and inspired many generations.

Shakira took to Twitter to share a heartfelt message for the Brazilian people following the death of Pele. The Colombian singer posted three words in Portuguese – “Estou Contigo Brazil” – which translates to “I’m with you Brazil”.
