The ‘Shakira – Pique’ saga is seemingly not going to end in a hurry. However, a recent report has sent shivers down everyone’s spine in the fanbase. The fanbase was aware that Pique met his new girlfriend in his own company, Kosmos Holdings. A recent report suggests that the Colombian star knew Clara Chia Marti well before their breakup. Pique and his current girlfriend, Chia Marti had developed a good connection even while she was an intern. Shakira also knew about her presence in the company.

However, the sad part is that Shakira never fathomed how far this ‘boss-intern’ bond would actually go.

The Latin American singer had reportedly interacted with Chia Marti previously. However, the Grammy award winner did not suspect anything during that period. Shakira even interacted with Chia Marti on a few occasions. American blogger Perez Hilton claims that the Colombian singer considered the 23-year-old a normal girl. The report further elaborates that Shakira shockingly quite liked Chia Marti as well.

The report states, “She passed unnoticed, Shakira never saw a danger because she is not a stunning woman, she is a rather normal girl. That’s why it hurt her so much, because he already knew her and called her ‘little dead fly’”. Shakira reportedly gave Pique’s new girlfriend a nickname. The Grammy-winning artist used to call Chia Marti ‘mosquita muerta’. This phrase interestingly means someone who seems harmless but can actually sting if needed.

When reality set in and Shakira realized the truth, it hurt her even more because she really liked Chia Marti. However, a broken Shakira still stuck to the facts and immediately parted ways with Gerard Pique. Recently, a report even claimed that Pique tried to reconcile with the Colombian singer. But there was no way that Shakira would reconsider her final decision.

However, the way in which Shakira found out about Pique’s infidelity is rather extremely bizarre.

Shakira was out of town for a few weeks. When she returned, she saw an empty jar of jam lying in the kitchen. She then asked her kids about it, but they revealed that they never touched the jar. The Latin American star was then confused because Pique had never eaten jam in his entire life. She then looked around but couldn’t find any more clues. However, after she confronted Pique, her world fell apart.

In retrospect, she hasn’t let that incident get the better of her. She asked the Spanish soccer legend to leave and continued taking care of the kids. As of today, Shakira plans on moving with Milan and Sasha to Miami in the next few months. While Gerard Pique is still trying to kick-start his life again after moving out. The FC Barcelona veteran is having a tough time moving around in Barcelona. The fans are constantly on his back and they leave no chance to humiliate him.
