The tournament’s first semi-final will see Real Madrid take on rivals Atletico Madrid. Barcelona and Real Madrid will net $6.5 million when they compete, with probably their reputation fetching them solid prize money. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid and Osasuna will receive $3.2 million and $1.1 million, respectively. Apart from the participation fees, the runner-up will be awarded an additional $1.1 million, while the winners take home $2.2 million.

Likewise, they will award the tournament winners with the coveted Spanish Super Cup title. The title has a black decorated base holding the names of all the past winners. The title’s main body has an ornamented silver handle, holding a flat plate with the cup resting on top.

The first semi-final of the tournament will see Real Madrid take on Atletico Madrid on the 10th of January. The game will kick start at 02:00 PM EST at the Al-Awwal Park in Saudi Arabia. Barcelona vs Osasuna will follow up the fixture on the 11th of January at the same venue and time. The final will take place at the same venue on the 14th of January.

How to Watch the Spanish Super Cup?

They will broadcast all the games for the Spanish Super Cup to fans across the United States. The telecast will be available on cable in Spanish and English on ESPN Deportes and ESPN 2. Fans can also catch the live action on the game on ESPN+. On the other hand, fans in the UK will have to tune into TNT Sports for the live coverage.
