In a couple of weeks, NWSL 2023 season will kick off and fans will be able to see their favorite stars in action. With MLS season 2023 already on track coming months will be action-packed for US Soccer fans. Stars like Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Trinity Rodman, and Mallory Swanson will be on the radar of fans to keeping the eye on.

During mid-season, these megastars will take a break to go on the quest for a historic feat in Australia and New Zealand. In July the team will put in their best effort to achieve a three-peat in the upcoming FIFA women’s World Cup.

The team is in amazing form prior to the start of the world cup. They dominated on the pitch and won the SheBelieves cup. Mallory Swanson scored all but one goal ahead of the World Cup. Megan Rapinoe returned to the pitch after a lengthy break due to injury. The USWNT star made headlines off the pitch due to her interaction with a basketball star.

Megan Rapinoe shared the post by Sue Bird

Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird had been partners since the 2016 Olympics. Time and again, they have proved the love and respect they have for each other. Whether it’s Bird being there to support Rapinoe in a World Cup-winning match or Rapinoe claiming to be the no. 1 fan of the basketball legend. The pair have kept the same magic alive since 2016.

Megan Rapinoe a few hours ago shared the Instagram post of Sue Bird and wrote, “Sh** is unfair“. This boosting up each other is nothing new for the athletic duo. In October 2020, they got engaged and came just a week after Rapinoe had said that she was open to marrying Bird in an interview.

Like in June last year when Sue Bird announced her retirement, she received the support of Megan Rapinoe, who said she was proud of Bird. The basketball star returned the favor when she supported Rapinoe during a public feud.

Sue Bird expressed her support for Rapinoe

Back in 2019, Megan Rapinoe was in a very public dispute. She was beefing with then USA president Donald Trump. This debate was getting heavy on Rapinoe during a back-and-forth between her and Donald Trump. At that moment, Rapinoe got the support of Sue Bird by her side.

Sue Bird wrote, “So the President Fu***ng Hates My Girlfriend. I was happy, I was crazy, I was PROUD, I was pretending to know about soccer. I was a little overwhelmed. I was pretty damn American. And I was in love with Megan Rapinoe.” The future looks bright for these stars and winning the World Cup would be a perfect addition to the celebrations these two have had in the last 7 years.
