Cristiano Ronaldo has been pulling off wonders for Portugal in recent matches. In fact, the whole Portuguese squad is doing exceptionally well with Ronnie having scored 8 goals in the tournament as of yet. He’s also made the highest attempts on target with 14 attempts, equaling Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku. However, former Liverpool player Steve Nicol believes that this feat doesn’t matter anymore.

Steve Nicol shared his take, as he focuses on the level of the tournament. The former Premier League icon said, “He’s (Ronaldo) going to score goals playing for Portugal, it’s the qualifiers. If you want to just go by he scored some goals then okay but if you actually watch him, some of the things he does are so Un-Ronaldo like falling over the ball. Some of the shots he has are just embarrassingly off time and off target”.
