Hatem Khaimi questions Aymeric Laporte’s performance

Prominent Saudi Arabian journalist Hatem Khaimi, while on a news show, questioned Al Nassr’s defensive performance despite their 5-2 win over Al Ittihad. The journalist stated the team had too many holes in their defense, with some prominent names not doing their job perfectly.

Hatem stated, “Also Laporte in the Al Nassr defense, like everyone in the Al Nassr defense. I see Laporte in a big game is a very big problem. We go back to the Al Hilal match and today’s match, a defender who hides, is a problem. He’s supposed to go one-versus-one, he’s supposed to go close to him and not stop.”

Al Nassr had a slow start to the game, with their defense conceding the game’s first goal. However, Cristiano Ronaldo clawed his side back into the game with a quick equalizer. The game turned on its head after the referee sent Fabinho off in the 65th minute, which allowed Al Nassr to score three consecutive goals to bag the win.
