Notably, Manchester City’s account was opened by Bernardo Silva with a beautiful free-kick curler. However, the La Liga side didn’t take much time to turn the table around. In the 12th minute, Eduardo Camavinga dribbled past the right side to take his chance on the goal. Nevertheless, the shot was deflected by Ruben Dias, resulting in the Portuguese defender inadvertently helping the rivals equalize.

Within two minutes, Rodrygo added the second goal for Los Blancos, embarking on a run from the halfway line as yet another deflected strike facilitated Carlo Ancelotti and his team’s remarkable comeback. After scoring the goal, the 23-year-old swiftly ran to the left corner and performed the ‘Sui’ celebration in front of thousands of fans at the Santiago Bernabeu. Although not the entire crowd responded with ‘Sui’, many were filled with nostalgia as it evoked memories of Ronaldo’s similar victorious steps during his illustrious Champions League days.
