Scarlett Gartmann was born in Hagen, Germany which is 13 miles away from Dortmund, the city where Marco Reus grew up. The 30-year-old was born to Ralf and Christine Gartmann on 24th October 1993 but lost her father at the tender age of seven. She was raised by her mother and grandmother and developed an interest in horses and hence took up Equestrian. Additionally, she also took up modeling later during her school days. She then pursued a career in the industry of her interest and has become a well-known celebrity and WAG.

Gartmann worked on multiple projects in her professional journey. Appearing at the Berlin fashion week, the model worked with car brands like Hyundai and Volkswagen and apparel labels, Drykorn and Modeca Brautmode. But the star’s passion for horses is also clear with Gartmann taking part in the 2021 Magnolia Cup race at Goodwood Festival and updating her Instagram regularly with pics of herself with horses. However, her Instagram once landed her into legal issues.

Reports in 2021 suggested that Gartmann used her personal Instagram account to advertise for watches and bags. Since promoting products through personal accounts is banned in Germany, the model was sued by competitors. The court subsequently asked her to avoid such advertising in the future. Nevertheless, both Reus and Gartmann have been happy together for many years.

Both Marco Reus and Scarlett met each other in 2015 and have been in a relationship since then. The couple since then have been well-followed in soccer and tied the knot in December 2019. Their first child was born in the same year but both of them chose to keep the daughter’s name private. Gartmann and Reus welcomed their second child earlier in January this year.

On the other hand, Reus will bid adieu to Borussia Dortmund after this season as his contract will not be renewed. The player announced the news yesterday and will be a free agent this summer and could attract deals from reputed clubs in Europe.
