Things have been going south for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese striker is currently struggling with his domestic side, Al Nassr. The Saudi Arabian side has suffered back-to-back upsets and is drawing their fans’ lashing. Their star No. 7 is also getting criticized by the soccer world.
There was some relief after they clinched an emphatic 4-0 victory against Al Raed. The win gave them major confidence, as they continue their title surge. Ronaldo also got back into the good books as he got his name on the scoresheet. However, the win hasn’t convinced an ex-Al Nassr player, who even has some criticism for CR7.

Ex Al Nassr star slams Cristiano Ronaldo
Former Al Nassr player Adrian Mierzejewski has slammed Ronaldo for his celebrations during the thrashing of Al Raed. After scoring the opening goal, the striker did his traditional celebration, but that didn’t impress Mierzejewski. In fact, the Polish midfielder has fired shots at the skipper.
Al Nassr posted a video of Ronaldo’s celebration, which Mierzejewski retweeted with the caption, “That moment when you lost the Supercup, you were eliminated in the semi-final of the Copa del Rey, you lost the derby to Hilal which means no championship 99% but you scored against Al Raed and your team won 4-0.”

The former teammate of Robert Lewandowski has slammed the Portuguese superstar for celebrating the goal. He reckons that despite winning by such a margin, they should not forget they won the match against a struggling side. He also shed light on their previous failures.
Mierzejewski played for Al Nassr back in 2016, where he featured in 64 games, bagging 26 goals and 16 assists. He has played for a host of clubs in Poland, and also a few in the UAE and Australia. Aside from this, he has played for many clubs in China. Currently, he is playing for Henan FC.
It is quite a controversial tweet from Mierzejewski. This shouldn’t be the only thing that Ronaldo should worry about, as he was recently criticized for his behavior.
Yelled at his own teammates
Ronaldo and Co. recently suffered a shock exit from the semi-finals of the Arabian Cup at the hands of Al Wedha. Aside from facing opprobrium from the soccer world, Al Wedha player, David Beauguel threw light on his bad behavior. “I was a little disappointed. At the end of the game, I told him I was a big fan and asked for his shirt. He shook my hand without looking me in the eye, with a very contemptuous air.”

He also revealed that the skipper lashed out at his teammates. “I understand that he was disappointed after the loss, that he is a great competitor, but his attitude surprised me. Even on the court, he was upset, he yelled at his teammates.” The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been facing criticism. It’s time that the player reflects on the situation and brings the best of himself.
