David Beckham Shared a 5-Word Heartmelting Tribute to Tom Brady Days After Daddy-Daughter Double Date in Miami

Finally, Tom Brady lifted the lid on his future by announcing retirement on Wednesday. After dominating for 23 years in the NFL, the seven-time Super Bowl winner decided to part ways at 45. It wasn’t a straightforward decision. Everyone is paying tribute to the legendary career of arguably the best quarterback in the NFL. English soccer legend David Beckham wasn’t behind and shared a heart-melting tribute to another legend. 

The legendary career came to a bitter end though, as Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to Dallas Cowboys. It was an easy 31-14 win for the Cowboys in the wildcard round. Brady’s performance was under scrutiny this season, and fans were unhappy with his performance in the last game. Debates sparked over his future, and the player decided to retire from the sport after 23 seasons.

Soccer legend David Beckham pays tribute to the legendary career

Inter Miami owner posted a heart-melting message on his Instagram story. The story reads, ” We love you, mate. No one did it better.” Beckham and Brady shares a great friendship for over a decade, and the former LA Galaxy star has been supporting the NFL legend in his tough times.

Brady, who is two years younger than the soccer star, last year greeted Beckham with “Happy Birthday Old Man,” on his birthday. Beckham, time and again, has praised the career of the legendary quarterback and the hard work he has put in. He thinks he is one of the all-time greats in the sport and has led by example.

Brady was spotted in a private school in Miami last month, and there are speculations he will move to Miami post-retirement. They have also reported that Brady is going ahead with his Miami mansion construction even after the divorce. The reports made fans believe that Brady will sign for Miami Dolphins. However, the NFL legend quashed all the rumors on Wednesday, posting a video of his retirement on social media.

Brady was in Miami amid his pending decision on the future last week. Beckham has a residence in Miami, and both friends came together after a long-time and enjoyed a pizza at Miami Slice with their daughters. 

Brady shared the pics on his Instagram story with the caption, “Daddy daughter dates,” while Beckham on his Instagram story captioned it, “Daddy’s and their daughters. Family night.” It was quality time spent by the two with their daughters, who were accompanied by Beckham’s son Cruz, who showed his cooking skills.
