The picture that was tweeted by popular financial and soccer analyst, Joe Pompliano. It was retweeted by Alexis Ohanian, who also expressed his enthusiasm. He wrote, “This was an absolutely brilliant first #FloridaMan photo of Messi. Iconic Publix checkout.” It seems Williams’ beloved is startled to see the World Cup winner with such simplicity.

Earlier, Ohanian made a significant investment in a social media platform that is specifically made for soccer, Gloria. The app aims to scout upcoming men’s and women’s soccer players. Back in 2019, following his $3 million investment in the company, the Reddit owner made a huge claim.

He said, “If a startup needs me to wear a tux, I’ll gladly do it. This is a good gig. Gloria is gonna help us discover the next Messi or Rapinoe anywhere in the world – and all they need is talent & access to a smartphone.” While the app is running well and it may have also paid him his money back. However, he is yet to find the next Messi. We hope his search will end soon.
