In the list released by the British media company, four US female athletes have made it into the top 10, with Simone Biles taking 8th place and Mikaela Shiffrin taking 6th. But, in an intriguing turn of events, the soccer duo of Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe have secured third and fifth place.

Lionel Messi has secured the top spot as the most marketable athlete in 2023. Following the Argentinian, it’s basketball maestro LeBron James, with Giannis Antetokounmpo in fourth place. Lewis Hamilton, Kylian Mbappe, and Max Verstappen have taken the seventh, ninth, and tenth positions, respectively.

The rest of the top 20 include athletes like Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, Stephen Curry, and Naomi Osaka. Shockingly, Cristiano Ronaldo failed to make the top 20, securing 27th place. Furthermore, Neymar, Luis Suarez, and Erling Haaland occupied the 31st to 33rd positions. Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal and Ons Jabeur ranked beyond the top 40.
