Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players of all time, and with greatness comes riches unlike any other. He has been a mainstay in the list of the richest athletes on the planet for several years now and doesn’t look like slowing down any time soon.

He has several sponsorship deals with the likes of Nike, to go with his own brands like CR7 Apparel. Ronaldo even has his own line of hotels and gyms, called the Pestana CR7 and CR7 Fitness by Crunch, respectively. Moreover, he has one of the most expensive car collections on the planet.

Out of all of his cars, his two Bugattis are the most eye-catching. Ronaldo owns a Bugatti Veyron and a personalized Bugatti Chiron, one of the most expensive cars on the planet. However, those aren’t the most expensive cars that he owns, as he also got his hands on the Bugatti Centodieci, worth a whopping $9 million.

Cristiano Ronaldo buys a customized Bugatti watch

The Portuguese forward has a special love for Bugatti, as he spent millions of dollars on a new watch from the brand. The watch is customized and features the CR7 logo, along with a mini-replica of Ronaldo’s Bugatti Chiron’s engine. Moreover, the watch is encrusted with 232 diamonds and 109 black sapphires.

It’s a beautiful watch that also combines the exterior of Ronaldo’s Chiron. Ronaldo worked with Jacob Arabo to create the exquisite piece which is valued at a modest $1 million. The Portuguese forward has many other beautiful watches in his collection, some of them even more expensive than this one.

Ronaldo’s position among the richest athletes on the planet

According to Forbes, Cristiano Ronaldo was the third richest athlete in 2021, with Paris Saint Germain star, Lionel Messi, in second place. UFC star Conor McGregor came in first with total earnings of $180 million.

In comparison, Ronaldo bagged a hefty $120 million from his sponsorships and club wages. It’ll be interesting to see where he’ll end up on the list this year.
