“All Being Explored”: Conor McGregor Assures Fans He Is Serious About Buying a Top English Club Like Manchester United or Chelsea

MMA has become an incredibly lucrative sport over the years as fighters like Conor McGregor have brought about a revolution. The Irishman recently topped Forbes’s list of the richest athletes in the world, beating the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

As a result, he really is one of the richest people on the planet and has several investments like Proper 12 Whiskey which are doing wonders for his bank account. However, for a man who really does own everything, one exciting new thing has come up on the market.

Conor McGregor might buy three football clubs

The Irishman had previously entertained the possibility of buying Manchester United from the Glazers a while ago. Surprisingly, the self-proclaimed United fan does have other clubs on his wishlist too.

In a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account, McGregor revealed that he was considering buying Scottish club Celtic and Premier League club Chelsea too. He also confirmed that he will definitely buy a football club in the future, but he didn’t mention when.

Chelsea FC and their ownership troubles

Chelsea had one of the best owners on the planet in Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who brought the club up from nothing to become a global force in 2022. They won the biggest honors in club football under his ownership of 20 years, but it all came to an end recently.

Chelsea might have had to face a few sanctions because of their owner and as a result, the Russian put the club up for sale after an emotional message.

It’ll be interesting to see who Chelsea’s new owners would be, but having Conor McGregor as your club owner isn’t half bad.
