Robert Lewandowski – Manchester City’s new target?

While Lewandowski has been phenomenal, the Polish striker might be on the move. Given how successful his stint has been, the 33-year-old, is reportedly looking for a brand new challenge in Europe.

According to the latest reports by Sky Sports, Lewandowski is eying a move away from the German capital before turning 35 years old. A big move might be in the cards with Bayern valuing him at £100 million.

Manchester City can be a potential destination for the Bayern superstar. The Premier League champions are in dire need of a number 9 after the departure of forward Sergio Aguero. One of the biggest names City have been linked to is Tottenham superstar Harry Kane.

But Daniel Levy and the Spurs are reluctant to let go of their crown jewel and let him join a rival like City. With a price tag of a mind-boggling £150 million, bringing in Kane might be a tough task.

Lewandowski certainly can be the perfect replacement signing for City. While he is 3 years older than Kane, Lewa is in the form of his life and has solidified his status as a goal scoring phenom.

Given the Polish striker’s finishing prowess, City could amplify their already lethal offense. Manager Pep Guardiola is also a big admirer of the Polish international. The Spanish coach earlier had mentioned that Lewandowski is “the most professional player I’ve ever met”.
