USMNT superstar Christian Pulisic has been in fine form for his nation in the past couple of years. His meteoric rise has seen him being awarded the captain’s armband for the USA, and he has matured a lot over the years. However, he hasn’t enjoyed the same amount of success in his club career.

When Pulisic got his big-money move to Chelsea in 2019, people expected big things from the youngster. Three years have gone by now, and the USMNT star has yet to establish his place in the Chelsea starting eleven. A combination of injuries and bad form has plagued the 23-year-old, but it looks like the tide is turning now.

Pulisic came on as a substitute in Chelsea’s match against West Ham and scored the winner in the 90th minute to help the club get the vital three points. Moreover, the American hadn’t started three games on the trot, and this goal would certainly boost his confidence.

He has a period when he was on the run when he had the confidence and he was heavily involved upfront and Timo [Werner] had to wait for many, many weeks,” Tuchel said.
