Real Madrid have made a name for themselves for their performances on the biggest stage. They take a lot of pride in the 13 Champions League titles they have won and proved their class again yesterday. Madrid knocked Chelsea out in their quarter-final tie after a fantastic match.

The final scoreline after two legs was 5-4, as the match went into extra time. The Los Blancos won the first leg in convincing fashion with a score-line of 3-1 courtesy of a Karim Benzema hat trick. The second leg started in a disastrous fashion for Madrid as Chelsea were up by 3-0.

However, Luka Modric pulled a magical pass out of nowhere in the dying stages of the game, which Rodrygo converted. Karim Benzema was the man of the hour again as he scored from a Vinicius Jr cross in extra time to get Madrid home.

I think this is the very, very wrong time to do this after the final whistle,” Tuchel said.
