The USMNT has evolved a lot in the last few years to a place where now the squad’s age has lowered a lot. It all started with young star Christian Pulisic being appointed as the team’s captain. That happened a few years ago and Pulisic is still only 23.

He is undoubtedly the team’s best player and the biggest talent to come out of America in a very long time. The forward got his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea FC in 2019, but things haven’t gone his way since then.

“I want to get more playing time. I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well. I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team,” Pulisic said.

While Christian Pulisic hasn’t had the best time at Chelsea, he showed his sublime form for his country. He recently showed his class again in USMNT’s friendly against Morocco, by getting an assist and winning a penalty.

Pulisic scored a wonderful hat-trick against Panama in his last international appearance and showed people that he wasn’t done yet. It’s vital for the USMNT that their captain is performing well and if Pulisic keeps playing like this, nothing can stop him.
