Club president Joan Laporta has done a fantastic job in the transfer market, signing the likes of Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The duo has both recorded a return of over 10 goal contributions since their arrival at the club, and the El Clasico was defined by Aubameyang’s goals.

French duo Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti have been at the club for a long time, but have failed to cement their place in the squad. As a result, Barca are looking at several defenders to help Xavi challenge for bigger trophies.

A move for Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen seems like a done deal, according to Fabrizio Romano, but the club isn’t stopping there. According to a report from ESPN, Barca are currently looking at Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes.

Gabriel has been incredibly solid at the heart of the Arsenal defense, and a move to Barcelona would be incredibly hard to resist for the Brazilian.
