It was a great day for FC Barcelona fans as their club was triumphant in the El Clasico at the Bernabeu. Barca humiliated Real Madrid in their 4-0 win as the Los Blancos disintegrated at home.

Every Barcelona player was brilliant on the day, as Madrid couldn’t stop the Catalan club from rolling them over. Barca’s January signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a wonderful brace and another winter arrival, Ferran Torres, got on the scoresheet too.

Defender Ronald Araujo scored a header to put the finishing touches on a wonderful performance. He gave Madrid’s tricky winger, Vinicius Jr, no room to operate, and Madrid’s attack was stifled. However, Barcelona’s best player was arguably their 19-year-old midfielder, Pedri.

Ousmane Dembele and Ferran Torres want Pedri to win the Ballon d’Or

The midfielder was on fire as he floated across the pitch with the ball sticking to his feet. He bossed the center of the pitch, and none of Madrid’s four midfielders could keep up with him. Pedri could’ve gotten an assist for his troubles too, but Ferran Torres missed the chance.

Regardless, he kept controlling the pace of the game, and his skills were mesmerizing everyone. His performance was so good that Barca attackers Ousmane Dembele and Torres called for a Ballon d’Or for the young Spaniard. While they might just be joking, if Pedri keeps on going like this, he’ll certainly win the Ballon d’Or pretty soon.
