Liverpool and Manchester United have had an intense rivalry for years now. The two clubs are surely the biggest clubs in England, and their managers and players take great pride in following up with it. New Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott continues the honoured tradition.

The English star recently suffered a devastating injury where he dislocated his ankle. Liverpool were playing Leeds United in the Premier League and a sharp tackle from Pascal Struijk saw Elliott getting injured. Struijk was sent off after that, and apologised to Elliott afterwards.

However, some rival fans on social media took this opportunity to ridicule the 18-year-old. A Liverpool fan posted a video on TikTok extending his support to Elliott, and a Manchester United fan commented, “he’s not walking like that anymore.

Elliott somehow saw the comment and took the opportunity to roast the fan.

Crazy though how I have more legs than United have trophies in the past eight years, X,” Elliott replied with a crying emoji. He even put up 6 fingers in the emojis to showcase the number of Champions League that Liverpool have won. The United fan replied to the comment and complimented the young footballer, “Haha, fair enough. You’re a baller.”

Liverpool and their fantastic start to the season with Harvey Elliott.

Liverpool currently are tied on 10 points along with three other clubs at the top of the Premier League table. It’s been four games and they have looked impressive this season. The emergence of Harvey Elliott after his amazing loan spell at Blackburn Rovers has been a huge help.
