He is now playing for French club Paris Saint Germain, yet another team competing for the biggest trophy in Europe. However, disaster struck on Monday when Ramos found out that PSG would face his beloved Real Madrid in the UCL Round-of-16.

Ramos talked about this match-up to Spanish journalist, Sergio Quirante. He reported that Ramos still has a lot of affection for Madrid, but he’ll do everything to make sure PSG wins. While Ramos’ return to the Bernabeu will be special, it won’t be at the detriment of his club.

“Fate is unpredictable. I wish we had gotten another team. I have a lot of affection for Madrid and that will not change anything. I will do everything possible for my team to win. It will be special returning to the Bernabéu,” Ramos said.
