Paul Pogba was supposed to be the best midfielder in the world. It was 2016 and the French midfielder was the subject of a €105 million bid that Manchester United submitted to Juventus to make him the most expensive player in the history of the sport.

He returned just four years after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer in 2012. It was his comeback, and the beginning did bring some hope. In 2018, Pogba showed his class to all football fans when he won France the World Cup with his performances. However, it never really worked out with Manchester United.
