All the attention has now turned to Qatar as the World Cup gets closer every day. The biggest competition in football will be held in the months of November and December this year, and fans are hyped. Qatar has promised an experience unlike no other and has built eight brand-new stadiums for the tournament.

However, the nation didn’t stop there as the Qatari government built three fan villages with several cabins each in the desert. According to a report by The National News, the cabins feature a bathroom, a fridge, and housekeeping, and start at around $200 for two people.

World Cup Fan Villages

The cabins in the fan villages cost considerably lesser than the hotels in Qatar. There has been a problem with fans finding accommodation in the country as prices of all living spaces have shot up. However, the cabins would be a great way to help fans live in affordable places with all available amenities.

“Fan villages are located on the outskirts of Doha but are still accessible via public transport or rideshares, keeping you in easy reach of all of the popular cultural attractions, as well as Fifa World Cup stadiums and activations,” Qatar’s Accommodation Agency said.

Keeping the accommodation aside, Qatar has done a fantastic job at creating an environment where the World Cup can be hosted. It is one of the biggest competitions on the planet, and as a result, the nation of Qatar went all out to leave its signature on the tournament this year.

They built eight new stadiums from scratch with state-of-the-art facilities. Surprisingly, all the stadiums are going to be air-conditioned, a new experiment in the sport of football. However, in focusing on all the functionality, they haven’t forgotten about their showmanship and all eight stadiums look incredibly beautiful.
