MLS released their 28-member squad to take on the best of Liga MX 2021 MLS All-Star Game. Seattle Sounders FC, New England Revolution, and Los Angeles FC were the clubs with the most players in the squad.

Carlos Vela (Forward, Los Angeles FC): Vela has consistently been one of the best players in the league for the past three years. The Mexican star is undoubtedly LAFC’s best player and still holds the record for the highest amount of goal contributions in a single season with 34 goals and 15 assists in 2019.

Nani (Forward, Orlando City SC): Nani is a player who has played with the best in Europe. The former Manchester United star has proven his worth for Orlando with 29 goals and 16 assists in 71 appearances.

Chicharito (Forward, Los Angeles Galaxy): Another player who played for Manchester United in his prime, Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, took a while to get started in the MLS. However, he has scored 10 goals in 10 starts for LA Galaxy and is looking to challenge Raul Ruidiaz for that top scorer award.

The Seattle Sounders FC team had six players in the All-Star squad, which was proof of their success this season and the one before it. Led by forward and league top scorer this season Raul Ruidiaz, the Sounders are primed to improve on their sixth-place finish last season as they are third right now.
