There are few footballers who can enthrall fans of the sport like Neymar Jr does. The Brazilian winger is incredibly tricky and is known for his exceptional dribbling skills. He was one of the best players globally, but his form has dipped in the last few seasons.

It can all be traced back to his €222 million transfer from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint Germain. Things haven’t worked out for him at the club, and Neymar hasn’t been able to replicate the form he showed at Barca. There have been a few traces, but certainly not enough to justify his transfer fee.

Neymar Jr gives an update on his future

As a result, PSG is evaluating whether to sell the Brazilian superstar or not. Very few clubs would want to take the forward’s wages on their books, but on the other hand, if he does manage to recapture his form, then there’s no stopping him.

Neymar spoke about his future in an interview with Canal Plus and revealed that his ambition is to win every title. He also added that he will stay at PSG next season and that winning the World Cup and the UCL is his goal for next year.

Mbappe made the right choice

Neymar also spoke about his teammate, Kylian Mbappe’s decision to stay at PSG amidst interest from Real Madrid. He said that Mbappe made the right choice as he chose to try and win the UCL with his hometown club. Even if the Frenchman wants to leave PSG in the future, staying in Paris would be his best option.

To try to win a Champions League in his country, in the team of his city. Maybe he will want to change his mind and play in another team in the future, but I think his decision to stay is the right one,” he added.
