Former FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi seems very happy at his new club, Paris Saint Germain. He’ll join his former teammate Neymar Jr. to be part of a three-pronged attack with young superstar Kylian Mbappe.

PSG’s front three is easily the best front three in the world and might even be better than the greatest front line of all time in Messi, Neymar Jr., and Luis Suarez at Barcelona. Messi recognized this in his first press conference for PSG and was gushing when a reporter asked him how good it would be to play with Mbappe and Neymar.

[To play with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe] is really crazy, and I am really happy about that,” Messi said. He then said that he would love to train and compete with this PSG squad, which is the best squad in the world by far.

“Sharing the day-to-day life with them and the squad, the team is incredible, and I really want to train and compete now because I am going to be playing with the best players,” the Argentinian superstar said.

Moreover, Neymar Jr. is not the only player Messi has played with before. His countrymen Angel di Maria and Leandro Paredes also play for the French club and have found a lot of success. However, DI Maria does play on Messi’s favored right-wing, but the former Barcelona star can slot in easily in the central attacking mid role.

Di Maria, Parades, I know all of the teammates in the dressing room, we had contact, and Neymar, of course, did a lot and was important in my decision,” he concluded.

Lionel Messi becomes PSG’s 5th arrival in this transfer window.
