FC Barcelona have no documented interest in Sterling as of now, but a move for the Englishman would work well for both teams. The emergence of Phil Foden and the arrival of Jack Grealish have made playing time scarce for Sterling. Mahrez and Bernardo Silva are two more options for Pep Guardiola for his wingers, and Gabriel Jesus can play there as well.

In return, Manchester Evening News has reported that City will look to sign FC Barcelona’s Dutch midfielder, Frenkie De Jong. De Jong is one of the best midfielders in the world, and Guardiola would love to have him in his ranks.
