Cristiano Ronaldo is playing out of his skin at Manchester United

Ronaldo had previously stated that he hadn’t returned to his boyhood club on a vacation, and he has backed his words up with his performances. Along with international teammate Bruno Fernandes, Ronaldo has carried the mantle in Manchester and is the club’s top scorer this season.

He has scored nine goals in twelve matches and provided an assist to go with it. And he has truly come alive on the greatest stage as he has scored five of his nine goals in the UCL, in just four games. He is third on the top scorer’s list, trailing behind Robert Lewandowski with eight goals and Sebastian Haller with seven.

Manchester United’s troubles in the Premier League

United started the season fantastically and had won four of their first five matches with a goal difference of +12. However, they have only won one game since then against a horrible Tottenham Hotspur side out of six more games.

This could be the end of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign at Manchester United. Moreover, if the club doesn’t turn things around, it could be the end of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United as well.
