Romelu Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the world and when Chelsea signed him back this summer from Inter Milan for a huge fee, things were supposed to go well. However, nothing has gone right for the club with regards to Lukaku and things got bad to worse when the Belgian gave an interview.

He came out publicly and revealed that he wasn’t happy at Chelsea. He wanted to go back to Inter Milan and gushed about the fans and the players there. Lukaku had previously pushed for a move away from Milan as the club was struggling financially. However, he has since changed his mind and wants to go back.

Thomas Tuchel has some advice for Lukaku after his antics

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has handled this entire situation relatively well and said that he wanted to resolve the issue behind closed doors. However, it’s all public now and when he was asked whether he had any advice for Lukaku after his interview with Sky Sports, Tuchel didn’t hold back.

The Romelu Lukaku interview that started it all

Meanwhile, Lukaku apologized to Inter fans in his interview and didn’t want to leave Inter the way he did. He apologized for not speaking to the fans first and said that he’ll never forget everything the fans did for his family.

I want to really apologize to the Inter fans because I don’t think I should have left Inter the way I did. I should have spoken to you guys first, especially after everything you did for me, for my family, my mum, my son. I’ll never forget that,” Lukaku added.

He also revealed that he wanted to go back to Inter Milan when he was still in his prime, and not at the end of his career.

I hope from the bottom of my heart to go back to Inter and not at the end of my career but when I’m still at a good enough level to win more trophies,” Lukaku said.

It seems like a positive sign for Inter Milan. So, is Lukaku going to make his move next summer back to Italy?
