He then had a quiet game against top 4 challengers Liverpool but made up for it by scoring a brace against Aston Villa last night. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo had a scintillating return at Old Trafford by scoring a brace against Newcastle.
So far, Lukaku has scored 3 goals in 3 matches while the 36-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo has already scored 2 goals in 1 game. As the title race and the race for golden boot is heating up, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was quipped about it. Surprisingly, the German was very unenthusiastic about it and expressed his lack of appreciation towards it. ?I couldn?t care as long as Lukaku scores for us.
