Unlike Jose Mourinho, Spurs Manager Counts on Dele Ali to Show Up for Team This Season

Jose Mourinho is one of the best known managers in Europe. After managing clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid to name a few, Mourinho was chosen as the successor to Mauricio Pochettino in the Tottenham Hotspur dugout.
Taking over a club plagued with injuries, Mourinho had a tough job at hand but eventually led the Spurs to a spot in the Europa League. Though he was eventually sacked, the Portuguese brought the best out of players like Harry Kane and Heung Min-Son.
While Jose might have brought the best out of some players, in his time with the Spurs, he froze out some regular starters from the team. One of the casualties was Dele Alli. Playing with a counter attacking approach, Alli couldn’t showcase his skill-set and at one point his departure looked imminent. But ever since Mourinho’s sacking, the English man has slowly but steadily gained back his form.
