Ronaldo is already one of the richest athletes in the world and lost out on the top spot to UFC superstar, Conor McGregor this year. However, not one to be left behind, the Portuguese announced that he is opening his first gym in his home country of Portugal.

Ronaldo unveils his latest venture, CR7 fitness by Crunch.

Ronaldo posted a promotional video on Instagram where he talked about his latest business venture. The gyms are going to be opening in Porto, where members can work out exactly like Ronaldo. He also added that more details will be coming soon, and that he hopes that his fans will enjoy it.

Hello everyone. I’m very proud to share this news with you. I’m opening my first gym in Portugal, CR7 fitness by Crunch, in Porto. You already know I consider exercise to be essential, both physically and mentally,” Ronaldo said in the video (originally in Portuguese). “That’s why I want to provide you with the possibility of following my methods and workout routines to achieve a healthy lifestyle. In the post’s caption, Ronaldo told people that they too can work out like him and be the best versions of themselves.

Ronaldo has been in top form for United, and despite being 36, has been the club’s top scorer this season with 13 goals and two assists.

Six of those 13 have come in the UEFA Champions League where Ronaldo single-handedly took the club to first place and to the Round-of-16. It’ll be interesting to see if he can win something for United this season, but the chances are high after the arrival of Ralf Rangnick.
