Canada beat the USMNT in the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers with a score of 2-0 and extended their lead at the top of the table. The entire country celebrated the win, with popular Canadian celebrities like Drake being ecstatic about the same.
He was watching the match and was recorded celebrating the victory. Drake cryptically talked about the victory and revealed how he enjoyed the win so much more because of the fact that it came against their neighbors, the USA.
“I want my chips with the dip, that’s all. I know I don’t want my chips plain, I want my chips with a dip, so bring them this,” Drake said.

The Canadians will surely enjoy this win, and they’ll appreciate being at the top of the qualifying table with a lead of four points over second-place USA, and Mexico.
The match between Canada and the USA by the numbers
It was a good game, with Canada seemingly stealing the points away from the USMNT. The Americans were leading in every single statistic; in shots on goal, pass completion, possession, and chances created. However, none of it was enough as their forwards failed to capitalize on those chances.
Cyle Larin opened the scoring for Canada in the 7th minute, as he capitalized from a defensive error by the USMNT keeper, Matt Turner. The match remained goalless after that until the very end of the game in the 95th minute. Sam Adekugbe scored on the counter to add flourish to a fantastic performance.
