Sargent, who had had a torrid time in England till this point, showed up to the party and scored two goals for Norwich. He got his first Premier League goal with a brilliant Scorpion Kick, which almost didn’t go in. However, his second goal left no doubt as Sargent headed in Milot Rashica’s cross to make it 2-0. Watford scored an own goal in the end to make the margin 3-0.

The Norwich fans were ecstatic and started chanting “USA!” after full-time as Sargent applauded them. He still has a long way to go, but he is showing a lot of promise, and performances like these will only help him prosper.

Josh Sargent and his form for the USMNT

Sargent has been in the USMNT set-up for a while now. He played 48 games for USA’s Under-17 team and scored 30 goals. After that, his progress was quick, and he has been a feature in the USMNT squad since 2018.

The 21-year-old has played 19 games for the USMNT, and he has managed to score 5 goals in that time. If he keeps on going like this, team USA will have another superstar on their hands.
