Lionel Messi is arguably one of the best players to ever grace a football field. Starting off his youth career in Camp Nou, Messi eventually made his senior team debut with the club in 2005. The Argentine developed into one of the best players over time and had spent his whole footballing career with the Cules.

But after 17 long years, the relation came to an abrupt end. With mismanagement from the hierarchy, the Blaugrana were unable to re-sign their talisman. PSG certainly jumped into the opportunity to sign Messi. Given how great of a player Messi is, this signing perhaps was one of  the biggest moves in the transfer window.

When and Where to watch the Ligue 1 debut of Lionel Messi?

Ever since he signed for the French giants, fans have been absolutely buzzing to see the Argentine international on the court. Given the trio of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Messi bossing the attack, it is simply unbelievable to imagine how explosive their offense will be.

While his transfer was 3 weeks ago, Messi wasn’t match fit as he hadn’t participated in any pre-season game as well. But the record Ballon D’or winner might be set for Ligue 1 debut tonight against Reims. Given that the Argentine maestro is finally making his debut, this game is a must-watch.

Over the years, Messi was synonymous of Barcelona.
