Cristiano Ronaldo is going through one of the toughest phases in his football career as he struggles with both his club and his nation. While Manchester United are languishing behind in the Premier League, Portugal failed to secure a direct berth to the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

They will now have to take part in the playoffs after finishing second in their FIFA World Cup Qualifying group. Portugal lost to Serbia in the final match week of their group after a late winner from Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Mitrovic headed home a 90th-minute winner to give Serbia the 2-1 win and a direct spot in the World Cup in Qatar next year. Mitrovic was elated after his goal and celebrated after the match in a very distinct fashion. He came back out in the stadium after the match was over with a Coke bottle in his hand. Waving the Serbian flag above his head, Mitrovic ran the full length of the pitch in his underwear.

Mitrovic might’ve been taking a dig at Cristiano Ronaldo with that Coke can, as the Portuguese forward had a little incident related to Coke during the UEFA Euros 2021.
