German giants Borussia Dortmund are one of the best sides all across the Europe. While the likes of Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho dominated the headlines for the Black and Yellow, a player like Giovanni Reyna went under the radar.

Reyna who made his debut with Dortmund as a 16-year-old impressed in the limited time he was given in his debut season. Given his incredible performances, the American wonder kid secured a starting berth with the team last season. While Dortmund had a disappointing season by their standards, Reyna thrived as a starter.

Sancho had an incredibly productive career with Dortmund as he chipped in with 104 goal contributions. While Reyna has a different role in the team, Dortmund will hope that he can have a better output this season.

But the 18-year-old has shown that he is up for a challenge. Despite his lack of experience, Reyna stepped up as a starter last season. With Sancho now out of the lineup, expect to see an increased role for the American.
