Daniil Medvedev is in elite company

Due to his incredible results this season, Medvedev ended the year as the World No. 2 player. In doing so, he became the first player to achieve this record after the likes of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray. It is evident that the fact does not appear surprising, unless we compare it to this information:

Coming to Medvedev, he began the season by reaching the finals at the Australian Open. After that, he had his best run at Roland Garros, where he made it to the quarterfinals. Prior to that, he had never won a main draw match at the venue.
