One game that shocked everyone during the PS5 event last month was the new Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It isn’t essentially a sequel but is a standalone game coming to the next-gen console. Miles Morales is being played by actor Nadji Jeter, who appears to be very excited and thankful for the iconic role.

Nadji, an American actor, has previously worked in movies such as Grown Ups and Read Between the Lines. He portrayed Miles Morales in the Spider-Man PS4 exclusive, the end of which hinted at Miles being the next Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales actor shares gratitude

On his Twitter handle, Nadji was quite emotional and shared some pictures of the work going on with the game.

“To become a character so impactful Means the World to me. The story of Miles is what this generation and the next need! I just thank the heavens above for blessing me with the opportunity and responsibility to bring him to life!”

Nadji is grateful to Sony and Marvel for the opportunity. The role will surely prove to be a huge boost for his career. The actor appears to be fully committed to the role and the love he has for the character is quite obvious too.

The game will continue after the events of Spider-Man 2018. However, Peter Parker’s role in the game might be quite limited. Fans were expecting Miles to debut in the video game as a playable character. Insomniac surprised everyone by introducing Miles as the lead.

The description of the game stands as,

“Miles has fully integrated himself into the black and red suit as an experienced Spider-Man while defending his hometown, Harlem, from a gang war between an energy corporation and a high-tech criminal army.”

Miles is special in many ways. As he dons his suit, he not only has regular powers but also has the special ability to camouflage himself. The game will surely have many such features and playing it will, hopefully, be truly mesmerizing.
