The 25-year-old American actress has been famous since her debut on Disney at a very young age. Since then, the actor has proved herself worthy of being in the industry with back-to-back hits. The actor has also received numerous accolades. The actor is currently dating co-star Tom Holland.

The actor has now revealed she was actually interested in sports and the reason she didn’t follow it up further.

Zendaya used to be a track star?

In recent news, Zendaya revealed 25 things fans don’t know about her. From her favorite food to her pet dog, she revealed many things which fans clearly had no idea about.

Zendaya also revealed that he actually used to be into sports when she was in school. She revealed that she used to do soccer and basketball in school. Moreover, the actor also ran track!

“I played soccer, basketball, and ran track before I told my parents I didn’t want to do sports,” said Zendaya.

Zendaya has revealed that she was actually very shy when she was young. So much so that she had to go through kindergarten twice.

“I did kindergarten twice because I was so shy,” revealed the actor.

The actor’s shy nature might have been the cause behind her telling her parents she didn’t want to do sports. Whatever, the reason, the actor is actually doing quite well in her own field and there’s no doubt she would have done well in sports too.

The actor reveals her father’s dream for her

The actor also revealed that her dad had an extraordinary dream for her. Her father actually wanted her to be a part of the NBA.

“My dad wanted me to be the first woman in the NBA,” revealed the actor.

Both her parents were actually teachers. This meant that Zendaya took school very seriously. She also revealed that she got into trouble for getting bad grades.

“In 2nd grade, I failed some spelling tests and got in a lot of trouble!” 

The actor is extremely talented and gives her all to every role that she is assigned too. Talented from a small age, Zendaya has also revealed that she used to draw and write poetry.
