French tennis player Benoit Paire has become a controversial child off lately. His antics on the courts have only led to negative headlines in recent months. Due to unprofessional behavior like spitting on the courts or losing matches deliberately, sponsors have distanced themselves from the Frenchman.

Recently, Benoit Paire was seen competing at the Wimbledon Championships 2021 in his opening round match. Similar to the French Open earlier this month, he was seen sporting a t-shirt, without any sponsors. It was a collared Wimbledon shirt which is available to one and all. It seemed ordinary as it did not have any sponsors, which is unusual for top professional players.

It was a white t-shirt adhering to the All England Clubs tradition. There were purple and green colors towards the end of the sleeves. The sale of the particular t-shirt is available on the Wimbledon website. It costs £50.00 and is available in stock currently.

The reason for the split, according to Paire, is that he intends to create his own clothing brand. The logo will be a cocktail glass and he will be the brand ambassador of his brand. Earlier in the year, he stated that the brand will be a mix of lifestyle and tennis.

Coming onto his match today, the Frenchman suffered another opening-round loss. He lost to the Argentine player Diego Schwartzman in straight sets, 6-3 6-4 6-0. Towards the final stages, he looked lackluster, and his desire to win or put up a fight was evidently missing. Earlier, at the French Open, Benoit suffered another first-round defeat and at one point even had tears in his eyes after the match.
