

Stan Wawrinka and Gael Monfils enjoyed a ‘fun’ practice session together at the ongoing Rolex Paris Masters 2019 as the two took some time off during their training sessions and had a good conversation with each other.
Stan Wawrinka posted a photo of him and Gael Monfils laughing during their practice session in Paris Bercy and asked his fans to guess what the two were laughing about as the best replies would be reposted by the Swiss star.

There were many funny replies, which Wawrinka reposted on his Instagram stories. In one of the best replies that Wawrinka posted, a fan suggested that Stan Wawrinka and Gael Monfils were laughing because “Guy Forget was hoping that Roger Federer would play Bercy after Basel.”
Even Stan Wawrinka couldn’t stop himself from laughing as he reposted the comment with a chuckling emoticon icon.

Earlier, Roger Federer had pulled out of the Rolex Paris Masters 2019 after clinching a record 10th title at his hometown tournament – Swiss Indoors Basel 2019.
The Swiss Maestro stated recovery to be his reason for withdrawal as he explained that his body needs more physical rest prior to the ATP Finals 2019 in London, next month.

“If we could have Roger Federer that would be great,” Guy Forget, the tournament director of the Paris Masters 1000 event said before the withdrawal of Roger Federer.

Gael Monfils eased past through his fellow countryman Benoit Paire in straight sets in his opening match at the 2019 Paris Masters 1000 and will face Radu Albot in the round of 16.
While Stan Wawrinka defeated Marin Cilic in straight sets in the second round of Paris Bercy. However, the 34-year-old will face a tough task ahead as he will face the winner between Adrian Mannarino and the second seed Rafael Nadal in the next round.
