Steam Reveals Details about PlayStation Exclusive Days Gone PC Port

The last year was a major one for the PlayStation community. 2020 saw one of the major PlayStation exclusive titles, Horizon: Zero Dawn, come to PC. The immensely positive response from both the PC and PlayStation communities encouraged Sony to bring more exclusives to PC. Truly, the impressive exclusives from the house of Sony deserve an even wider audience.

In an interview with the GQ magazine, PlayStation head Jim Ryan elaborates on further exclusive titles coming to PC. He said,

There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognize the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward. The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the caliber of the IP has improved. Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision for us to make.

Currently, we are anticipating the PC port of yet another iconic PS4 exclusive title, Days Gone. The 2019 action-adventure survival horror title from Bend Studio was one of the most notable PS4 exclusives and explored the genre of open-world gaming to a great extent.

Fans have recently noticed further details about the PC port of Days Gone on Steam.

Details of the PlayStation exclusive Days Gone revealed on Steam include PC specific features

The PC version of Days Gone will include the New Game Plus, Survival mode, Challenge mode, as well as the iconic bike skins from the game. In addition to this, the title will have several PC-specific features. The PC version of Days Gone will feature Ultra Wide Monitor Support and uncapped frame rates.

Furthermore, the title will feature enhanced graphics as well. The Steam page for the game states that players can expect improved visuals, improved field of view, and better foliage draw distances. However, this is all assuming you have powerful hardware on your machine.

As for the system requirements for the game, here are the recommended and minimum specs:

  • Memory: 8 GB RAM

  • Storage: 70 GB available space
