World Number seven, Stefanos Tsitsipas shared about his association with the Serbian legend, Novak Djokovic.  “Djokovic likes me. He is a very nice man, very loved in our sport,” the Greek lad said. “He has an open mentality, he wants to learn new things, I have deep discussions with him. He is not boring and he is a very interesting person.”

Tsitsipas and Djokovic had met twice on the tennis courts, and the NextGen star was successful in overcoming the World Number one tennis player when they first met at the Rogers Cup 2018. Earlier this year, the Serb defeated Tsitsipas at ATP Madrid Open 2019 finals.

After withdrawing from the first round of Zhuhai Open 2019, Stefanos Tsitsipas won two matches at China Open 2019. In both his matches he dropped the opening set and then proceeded to win the match. The Serb, Djokovic is swinging his racquets in Tokyo, Japan and he will face Lukas Pouille in the quarterfinals.

In the Beijing quarterfinals, the third seed, Tsitsipas will be setting up a clash with the American, John Isner. The big-serving American pulled off an upset in the China Open’s first round by eliminating the seventh seed, Gael Monfils in three sets.

Besides Tsitsipas and Isner, Alexander Zverev will take on Sam Querrey in one of the quarterfinals in China. The fourth seed, Karen Khachanov will face the sixth seed, Fabio Fognini and the top-seed Dominic Thiem is all set to face the three-set Grand Slam champion, Andy Murray.

The Brit is exhausted playing tennis all this week and recently he mentioned that presently, he cannot handle three to four matches a week and he is exhausted. “I’m tired, I just had a sleep before coming,” said Murray. “I’m really tired. That’s the first time I’ve had to do that since I came back. It was a good step for me. It’s great that I won the match.”
