The English International decided to hang up his boots from international duties following a disappointing World Cup in Brazil. He holds an incredible record, with a tally of an astounding 114 caps and 21 goals for his country

His current Liverpool boss, Brendan Rogers, once said in a conference that “Steven Gerrard is someone who has dropped from heaven.”

Steven Gerrard told the FA-

”I have enjoyed every minute of representing my country and it is a sad day for me knowing that I won’t pull on the
England shirt again .”

He also added that “I do look forward to continue my strong relationship with the FA and helping out in any way I can going forward. ”

It was hard to hear Gerrard calling off from his international duty football in a game of glorious uncertainties, so Gerrard fans need to cheer up and wish him luck for his upcoming season for Liverpool because we all believe that he does have a lot of football still left in him.
