“Straight-Up Respect!”- Darren Till Praises Conor McGregor For Comment

The news of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father, Abdulmanap Nurmogomedov’s health condition took the MMA World by shock. Fighters from around the globe joined in to pray for the Dagestani’s speedy recovery, including The Eagle‘s arch-rival, Conor McGregor.

The most recent fighter to pray for Abdulmanap’s speedy recovery was “The Gorilla”, Darren Till. Ever since the world went into quarantine, Till has been quite active on social media. But, this is perhaps the only time he took to social media without aiming to take jabs at people.

In his Tweet, he wrote,

“Isn’t it mad when something like this happens to a sportsman’s family member[,] Even his archest rival will wish him health. Amazing to [see], & this sport at the end of all the bullsh*t is about pure straight-up respect. Wishing Abdulmanap [the] quickest of recoveries.

The Notorious One has an extremely bitter relation with Khabib. However, this did not cause him to overlook the one value that makes MMA as great as it is. Respect.

Fighters across the globe hold extreme respect for all those involved in the sport. Thus, when someone who has contributed more to the sport than most can dream of, battles for his health, the entire community joins in support.

Conor Tweeted:

Truly, it takes the master of masters to produce talents like Khabib Nurmagomedov. The MMA Universe continues to pray for Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’s recovery.
