The 2022 slate for video games seems to be one for the ages. With games like Elden Ring, The Saints Row Reboot, Horizon Dawn Forbidden West arriving next year, it seems like fans will have a lot of games to enjoy. However, Nintendo fans might be getting the biggest entry out of them all, possibly, which is none other than the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Nintendo first announced the title’s development during E3 2019. Moreover, during last year’s E3, the developers showcased a beautiful teaser for the game, which will drop next year. However, since then, fans haven’t been offered much in the way of information about the title. But recent speculations suggest that fans might only have to wait till next week for some news.

Will The Game Awards 2021 showcase the world premiere for the sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild?
A couple of months back, Geoff Keighley finally announced the return of The Game Awards for the year 2021. The popular event will take place on December 9, and fans can expect to see a lot of new information about video games. However, fans are most keen about a new world premiere that Keighley talked about in a recent tweet.
2.5 years sounds like a long time, but summer of 2019 was actually my last global tour to visit developers. I always have so much fun visiting studios and hearing about their projects. Hope to do it again in 2022.

According to Keighley, The Game Awards 2021 will showcase the world premiere of a major title that he’s been in the works for almost two years. After doing some calculations, fans theorized that the game might be the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
