Sunderland offer short term contract to Emmanuel Eboue

Sunderland are in the process of signing former Arsenal right-back Emmanuel Eboue on a short term deal that will last till the summer, Sam Allardyce has confirmed.

The 32-year-old has spent the last 3 weeks training with Sunderland after being released by Turkish club Galatasaray last summer and has impressed. He is expected to sign a contract till the end of the season on Friday.
